Our developers play a key role in shaping Paessler PRTG, which more than 500,000 users rely on every day. We are currently looking for a Backend Software Developer with strong Rust and database experience to take our monitoring software to the next level. You will be part of an 8-person cross-functional team focused on our software for large and enterprise customers. For this role, it is important that you have a modern technology stack and enjoy learning new technologies and integrating them into our products. You will work in an agile team within the product development for Paessler PRTG. You and a small, effective team will focus on the needs of our enterprise customers and work on continuous product improvements. You will plan, develop and modernize software features together with your team. You will contribute your own ideas and participate in discussions, planning and their implementation together with the product manager. As a team, you take responsibility for architecture and code quality. You support the team with knowledge transfer, code reviews and testing of new features. You assist our technical support in 3rd-level cases, analyze, isolate and resolve problems within complex environments. You and the team work together to ensure a high level of quality and stability of the system. Unsere Erwartungen an dich Qualifikationen You have knowledge of AI/ML technologies or strong interest to learn and apply them in development. You are keen to learn more of a messaging system and its integration into PRTG. You are willing to learn Rust is an advantage. You are willing to learn about how our network monitoring software works. You are very familiar with the development of software architectures, the implementation of clean code principles and the application of design patterns. You are familiar with Git and are interested in a modern CI/CD infrastructure with GitLab and Jira. You have an agile mindset. You are able to communicate in English fluently. Erfahrung You have strong experience in Delphi and familiarity with modern programming practices. You have solid experience with databases and their integration into software, or you are very interested in learning about this and applying it in development.
