Platform Architect, MS Entra & Active Directory

Deine Rolle im Team The MS Entra & Active Directory Architect will be the platform owner for one of Symrise's central digital workplace platforms and drive the strategy and design for solutions and services related to Microsoft Entra, Active Directory (AD), and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS). Working closely with external partners, solution engineers and solution admins to ensure consistent high-quality output, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our corporate Active Directory structure and the evolution of our future landscape by defining the development roadmap, technical capabilities, and initiatives. As a subject matter expert, you will ensure stability, security and efficiency of all identity related services for both online and on-premises, including Microsoft Entra and Active Directory, Bitlocker, Conditional Access and MFA, working closely with the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team. In this context, you will lead technical discussions, collaborate with internal stakeholders, manage external partners, and participate with other IT team members in international projects including responsibility for takeover projects. Unsere Erwartungen an dich Ausbildung Relevant degree in with at least 5 years of recent specialized consultancy, service provider or in-house experience in a multinational business environment. Qualifikationen Expert level knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services as an architect and systems administrator, particularly SC-300 and AZ-900. Confident user of Microsoft Azure or comparable infrastructure; knowledge of the administration of Windows Server operating systems and other operating systems and platforms. Knowledge of information technology principles, concepts, and techniques. Project management skills and ability to create succinct and accurate documents, incorporating text and technical design diagrams. Strong communication, influencing and decision-making as well as moderation and negotiation skills. Fluency in written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus. Erfahrung Experience in the creation, change, deletion of user accounts, privileges, and roles including management, administration, and support of Active Directory (AD) domain structure. Experience with Windows PowerShell scripting and/or .NET development. Experience working with cross-functional teams, translating requirements between business, project management and technical projects or programs. Sound experience in Cloud Solutions and Microsoft Collaboration Tools (e.g. MS Teams, SharePoint). Change agility and experience in supporting transformations in the IT environment.
