Development, test, configuration control and administration of various virtual telemetry data processing systems in the ISS ground segment at MUSC. Implementation and test of virtual client-server architectures for mission networks in the frame of IT security rules in coordination with internal and external space organizations. Development of (interface) test plans, test procedures and reports, as well as test performance and implementation. Independent troubleshooting, failure analysis and resolution within virtual client-server configurations and virtual networks. IT support for local office and project computers. Proper documentation of activities and configuration control in the frame of project requirements. Support ISS experiment operations as ground controller in the ISS ground segment in campaign mode. Unsere Erwartungen an dich Ausbildung Completed university degree (Bachelor's level) in Information Technology or an equivalent qualification. Qualifikationen Practical expertise in the design, implementation, and operation of networks (switch and firewall systems). In-depth knowledge of physical and virtual networks, network protocols, network components, and firewall systems (netfilter/iptables, OPNsense/pfSense). Solid expertise in virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Proxmox), as well as backup and availability of virtual systems. Good knowledge of IT security. Very good command of the English language. Erfahrung Practical, hands-on experience in Linux administration in client-server environments (Debian).
