Deine Rolle im Team Act as the primary technical interface for customers during pre-sales and early development phases. Support customer engineering teams in evaluating and adopting MIPS solutions. Provide hands-on technical guidance on: Processor IP integration, Software toolchains and development environments and System architecture considerations. Drive design-in activities at OEMs, Tier-1s and design houses. Support technical discussions to secure design wins for: CPU IP licensing, Custom silicon programs, Automotive platform solutions, Assist customers in transitioning from evaluation to implementation. Help customers understand and implement MIPS' value proposition: Open RISC-V architecture flexibility, Multi-threaded, high-performance compute, Functional safety-ready solutions (ASIL), Support system-level optimization for performance, power and cost. Troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues across hardware and software domains. Work closely with internal engineering teams to escalate and address complex challenges. Ensure timely resolution of customer issues to maintain project momentum. Partner with Business Development to support opportunity creation and closure. Provide technical input to proposals, RFIs, and customer presentations. Translate customer requirements into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams. Support engagement with ecosystem partners (software, EDA, design services). Participate in customer workshops, demos, and industry events. Help position MIPS solutions within the broader automotive semiconductor ecosystem in EMEA. Unsere Erwartungen an dich Ausbildung Bachelor's/Master's degree in an engineering discipline or similar. Qualifikationen Proven track record supporting customer engagements and design wins. Strong understanding of Automotive electronic architectures (MCUs, SoCs, domain/zonal controllers). Key use cases such as ADAS / perception systems or Motor control / electrification. Familiarity with: Processor architectures, Embedded software development (compilers, SDKs, OS) and System-level design and integration. Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to operate independently in a field-based role. Hands-on technical mindset with strong debugging capability. Ability to bridge technical depth with customer business needs. Fluent in English (Written & Verbal: C1). Erfahrung 5-10+ years in Field Application Engineering, Applications Engineering or Design Engineering. Experience in Semiconductor IP, SoC/ASIC development, or embedded systems, Automotive electronics or related markets.
